PALAWAN, October 22, 2019 – Adamant to provide free and quality basic medical services in communities, the Philippine Blue Cross Biotech Corp (PBCBC) supported anew the DZMM in its recent medical caravan last October 16 in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Dubbed as the DZMM Hapinay Convention, the event gathered more than 100 female attendees from Batak tribe and women volunteers to listen on the discussions led by experts and professionals on healthy pregnancy, hepatitis awareness, and beauty tips.
To complement these discussions, Blue Cross provided the attendees with free blood sugar test, UTI test kits, and pregnancy test kits.
The attendees also availed of the following services provided by the DZMM’s other partners:
- Medical consultation with free medications
- Hepatitis Consultation
- Derma Consultation
- Legal Consultation
- OB-Gyne Consultation
- Marital Issues Consultation
- Financial Advice
These free consultations helped the women on the island to save both of their money and time while also learning and enjoying themselves at the same time. The purpose of the Hapinay Convention is a way of payback to women who tirelessly take care and look after their families.
